HOW EDGE WORKS

EDGE is Designed to Support and Reinforce Coaching Culture, Not Replace it.

EDGE™ is a structured performance system that trains, measures, and verifies the skills behind consistent athletic success.

It integrates:

  • Executive function training

  • Brain health systems

  • Academic load management

  • On-field execution standards

  • Measurable certification criteria

Execution Is Not Assumed. It Is Installed.

"[TGlearn's] guidance, particularly around organization and time management, has been priceless... She did a remarkable job of leading him by the hand in the beginning while slowly transitioning him to full independence now.  We are deeply thankful for her commitment to him."

Athletes' challenges and EDGE solutions_

Charlie needed SYSTEMS. Jake needed ACCESS. EDGE provided BOTH.
Talent only matters if it shows up. EDGE makes sure it does.

PHASE 1:

EQUIP

Identify What’s Limiting Execution.

High-level athletes don’t guess where performance breaks down.
They measure it.

The EQUIP phase includes:

  • Athletic Executive Function assessment

  • Brain health and cognitive load mapping

  • Academic and schedule stress analysis

  • Identity and confidence baseline

  • On-field readiness observation

We identify:

  • Where pressure builds

  • Where focus drops

  • Where emotional control shifts

  • Where academic strain impacts performance

  • Where independence gaps exist

Outcome=
The athlete gains clarity.
The family gains direction.
A personalized execution road map is built.

PHASE 2: DEVELOP

Train the Systems That Drive Consistency

This is where installation begins.

Athletes are trained in the 16 core Athletic Executive Function skills, including:

  • Sustained attention

  • Mental flexibility

  • Stress tolerance

  • Emotional regulation

  • Organization and time management

  • Processing speed and adaptability

Brain health is integrated, not optional.

We train:

  • Sleep structure for cognitive recovery

  • Hydration and nutrition awareness

  • Mindfulness and reset routines

  • Gratitude and perspective habits

  • Recovery discipline after competition

Execution standards are applied across:

Before Competition

Preparation systems
Time blocking
Academic alignment
Mental readiness

During Competition

Focus under fatigue
Adaptation to real-time change
Emotional control
Persistence

After Competition

Recovery
Reflection
Academic follow-through
System reset

Outcome=

The athlete executes the small things consistently.

PHASE 3:

GROW

Build Independence Across Environments

Talent matures when ownership increases.

In this phase, athletes:

  • Operate their executive function planner and accountability systems independently

  • Self-monitor academic and performance load

  • Communicate proactively with coaches and teachers

  • Reset after setbacks without spiraling

  • Manage expectations without identity collapse

  • This is where maturity becomes visible.

Parents give fewer reminders.
Coaches reduce micromanagement.
Athletes begin to trust themselves.

Outcome=

The athlete manages themselves across environments.

PHASE 4: EXECUTE

Verify Reliability Under Real Pressure

Execution is proven—not assumed.

EDGE monitors:

  • Present-moment focus

  • Calm, efficient execution

  • Habits that hold up when it matters

  • On-field behavior before, during, and after competition

  • Executive function data trends over time

  • Academic stability during season

  • Brain health adherence

  • Performance under elevated pressure

Athletes demonstrate:

  • 90%+ independent execution standards

  • Consistent emotional regulation

  • Sustained focus under demand

  • Reliable follow-through

When standards are met and sustained,
EDGE Certification is earned.

Outcome=

Sustainable execution proven before, during, and after competition and across all arenas
